DevOps - Lead the on‑premises to AWS cloud migration using a lift‑and‑shift (rehost) approach, ensuring parity with existing on‑prem architecture.
Design, provision, and manage EC2‑based infrastructure hosting Apache web servers, JBoss application servers, and Percona MySQL.
Build and maintain secure AWS VPC architectures, including separation of PCI and Non‑PCI environments, subnet design, routing, and network controls.
Configure and manage Elastic Load Balancers (ALB / NLB) and integrate AWS WAF for internet‑facing and PCI‑compliant workloads.
Deploy and manage Amazon EFS (NFS) for shared storage needs.
Administer Percona MySQL on EC2, including clustering/replication, backups, patching, performance tuning, and high availability.
Implement security best practices using IAM roles, security groups, encryption, and least‑privileged access.
Integrate AWS infrastructure with enterprise monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
Support PCI compliance, vulnerability management, audits, and remediation in collaboration with security teams.
Own operational excellence: incident response, root‑cause analysis, patch management, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Qualifications - Devops
12+ years of experience in Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering, with 6+ years of hands‑on AWS experience.
Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services, especially EC2, VPC, ELB (ALB/NLB), EFS, IAM, and WAF.
Proven experience migrating on‑premises systems to AWS using lift‑and‑shift or rehost strategies.
Solid background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
Experience managing Apache, JBoss / Java application servers, and MySQL / Percona databases in production environments.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
Experience working in regulated or PCI‑compliant environments.
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring/logging tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
Working knowledge of security hardening, vulnerability management, and audit requirements.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) is a plus.
AWS certification (Associate or Professional) is preferred.
